1. What we use cookies for
Proplr.io uses a single category of cookies: website traffic analytics. We load Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-PPKLRJNM), which in turn loads Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how visitors find and move through the site. That's the only purpose.
We do not use cookies for:
- Advertising or retargeting
- Cross-site tracking
- Personalisation or content tailoring
- Building a profile of who you are
2. How consent works
On your first visit to proplr.io, you'll see a consent banner at the bottom of the page with two options:
- Accept — Google Tag Manager loads and analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so the banner doesn't appear again.
- Reject — Google Tag Manager never loads. No analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered the same way.
You can reset your choice at any time by clearing site data for proplr.io in your browser — the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Local storage is not a cookie; it's a browser-native mechanism for remembering a preference on your device only. Storing your consent choice there means we don't need a cookie to remember whether you accepted or rejected cookies.
3. Cookies set if you accept
When you accept, Google Analytics 4 (loaded via the GTM container named above) sets a small number of cookies. The typical set is:

These cookies store an anonymous identifier. They do not contain your name, email, or any information that directly identifies you. For full detail, see Google's analytics cookie usage documentation.
4. Third-party services
Some pages on our site load content from external services. Those services may set their own cookies when your browser fetches their content. Proplr does not control third-party cookies — review each provider's policy for details.
- Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics — loaded only after you accept the consent banner. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — used to load the Inter typeface. Loads on every page because it's required for the site to render. Google Fonts does not set identifying cookies.
- hCaptcha — loads on every page that contains our contact form, to distinguish real visitors from automated submissions. May set first-party cookies for fraud-detection scoring. Operated by Intuition Machines, Inc.; see hcaptcha.com/privacy.
5. Future changes
If we introduce additional cookie categories — for example, marketing, A/B testing, or product functionality cookies — this Cookie Policy will be updated with details about each category, and the consent banner will be adjusted to reflect the new choices. Material changes will be highlighted on our home page for 30 days, and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
